Scholarship Opportunities and FInancial Information

Daniels Fund Scholarship: Deadline 18 Oct

  • Be a graduating high school senior
  • Be a resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming
  • Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
  • Earn a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 in high school (on an unweighted 4.0 scale)
  • Earn a minimum SAT Math score of 490 and a minimum Evidence-Based Reading & Writing score of 490, or a minimum ACT score of 18 in each category (writing score not required).
  • Meet financial eligibility requirements as described below.

P.E.O. Chapter L Scholarship

$500 Scholarship is open to women who: earned a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale during either high school or the
time they have been in college; is seeking higher education at an accredited college, university or
technical school on a full-time basis; is either a current/former graduate of Sweetwater County high
school or homeschool program OR seeking higher education at an entity within Sweetwater County.

Horatio Alger Scholarship (juniors only)

  • Full-time high school junior
  • United States citizen

WWCC needs behind the scenes people, doing things like radio and live stream broadcasting, working the concession stand, setting up halftime entertainment, giving away prizes, being part of the stats crew, taping ankles and taking care of the athletes…WWCC needs you to be right there, right alongside the athletes, coaches and athletic department personnel.

UW Summer High School Institute

WWCC Dual Enrollment information

*Please note that learners cannot retake course(s) that they received below a C for their final grade or if they have dropped or withdrew from the course a previous semester while in High School and it be funded by BOCES. If a learner would like to re-take a course that they received below a C in or dropped or withdrew from the course previously, learners and their families must pay for tuition and books for the course.


ACT test for Juniors (State mandated)

The required test for all Juniors will take place (TBD) in the morning.  Students should be ready to participate starting at 8 a.m.  This test will have no charge.
