2022-23 FAFSA Checklist.pdf   Information and checklist you will need when you attend the FAFSA workshop.   You will need to enroll here first before you can register for Dual Enrollment classes at WWCC.  Be sure to check pre-requisites and age waiver if needed.  Upon registration, you will be able to utilize the site and choose the classes you would like.  You will then be approved or denied depending on whether you meet the guidelines.

Wyoming Trucking Association Scholarship Fund

Transportation education scholarships for 2023-2024 school year.  The amount of the awards will range from $500 to $1000, payable in August, 2023 to the school the student will be attending.  Applications available in the counseling office.


Coca Cola scholarship

Scholarship open for high school seniors graduating in 2023.  You can apply online at between August 1 and October 31 2022.

WWCC needs behind the scenes people, doing things like radio and live stream broadcasting, working the concession stand, setting up halftime entertainment, giving away prizes, being part of the stats crew, taping ankles and taking care of the athletes…WWCC needs you to be right there, right alongside the athletes, coaches and athletic department personnel.

WWCC in partnership with with the SW Wyoming Manufacturing Partnership (SWMP) is planning an event on Friday, October 7, 2022 to highlight careers in manufacturing and showcase manufacturing as a S.T.E.M. based industry.  The event will be held at WWCC from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Atrium.  This is a great opportunity to interact with a variety of manufacturers who are willing to showcase manufacturing's diversity, its innovativeness and its range of careers (welding, operations, IT, industrial mantenance, instrumentation, engineering, cybersecurity, human resources, and R&D to name a few.)


Wyoming Post High School Planning Days, Monday, September 12, 2022 from 9-12 at Rock Springs High School.  There will 36 representatives from various colleges, tech schools and the military.  A great opportunity to explore your options for your future regardless of what it is.  Check it out.  Its Free.  is where you go to register for the event.  (EVENT PASSED)


Mustang Preview Day    (Event Passed)     Program (previously known as Senior Day) at Western Wyoming Community College is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26, 2022  from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Come and have some fun, learn what is offered and take a look into your educational future.  

You can register at 


UW Summer High School Institute (Sophomores ONLY).  July 9-29 2023 at the University of Wyoming.  Opportunity to attend college-like classes, share ideas and thoughts with other Wyoming students, develop new skills, network and have fun.  You are responsible for transportation and $250 for this event.  Deadline for application is February 12, 2023.  Requirements for the application process can be found at  Check it out.  If you get accepted you will never forget the experience.

*Please note that beginning next semester (Spring 2023), learners cannot retake course(s) that they received below a C for their final grade or if they have dropped or withdrew from the course a previous semester while in High School and it be funded by BOCES. If a learner would like to re-take a course that they received below a C in or dropped or withdrew from the course previously, learners and their families must pay for tuition and books for the course.
