P.E.O. Chapter L Scholarship

$500 Scholarship is open to women who: earned a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale during either high school or the
time they have been in college; is seeking higher education at an accredited college, university or
technical school on a full-time basis; is either a current/former graduate of Sweetwater County high
school or homeschool program OR seeking higher education at an entity within Sweetwater County.

Are you interested in a $25000 scholarship.  Here are the requirements:

  • Full-time high school junior
  • United States citizen
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0

WWCC in partnership with with the SW Wyoming Manufacturing Partnership (SWMP) is planning an event on Friday, October 7, 2022 to highlight careers in manufacturing and showcase manufacturing as a S.T.E.M. based industry.  The event will be held at WWCC from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Atrium.  This is a great opportunity to interact with a variety of manufacturers who are willing to showcase manufacturing's diversity, its innovativeness and its range of careers (welding, operations, IT, industrial mantenance, instrumentation, engineering, cybersecurity, human resources, and R&D to name a few.)

WWCC Dual Enrollment information

*Please note that beginning next semester (Spring 2023), learners cannot retake course(s) that they received below a C for their final grade or if they have dropped or withdrew from the course a previous semester while in High School and it be funded by BOCES. If a learner would like to re-take a course that they received below a C in or dropped or withdrew from the course previously, learners and their families must pay for tuition and books for the course.


ACT test for Juniors (State mandated)

The required test for all Juniors will take place March 28, 2023 in the morning.  Students should be ready to participate starting at 8 a.m.n  This test will have no charge.
